Industrialized Building Systems and Technologies

We raised the course of industrialized construction techniques and systems in order to teach and learn new ways of evolution of architectural technology, in particular of industrialized construction.

In the last courses we have studied the progressive process of substitution of crafts practices for industrialized processes and the technological consequences of this change in architecture and construction. As a result, we have analyzed the new industry-industry relationships in the project and in the implementation process, from the concepts of systematization, rationalization and mechanization; of the technology of industrialized systems; of the prefabrication: and of the dimensional coordination and the modular addition.

We also have incorporated environmental requirements in the discourse of industrialization, because if it is not, it will not have a future.
