Space and light

This course focuses on the knowledge of the lighting performance in the architectural environment, and the effect on the user’s perception and comfort. The day and night light behaviour of the private and public spaces is included, as well as in the assessment of natural and artificial lighting systems.

The main objective is to provide the students with the control of the analysis and evaluation of lighting environments in architecture, both in its functional and aesthetic aspects. This will allow them to experiment with a new approach of light and lighting, while mastering the most appropriate techniques in each case.
