This course will study the parameters and factors of environmental comfort in architecture taking into account the formal and spatial conditions of the architectural environment. The impact that any constructive decision can cause on quantitative and qualitative conditions in relation to thermal, lighting, acoustic, etc. behavior of architecture will be analyzed.
The goal is to improve the foundations of knowledge which are necessary to design comfortable spaces for users. The main objective is to integrate in a body of doctrine the scientific, psychological, sociological and anthropological fields, which are usually disconnected. The transversal reading of any architectural phenomenon will be essential in this subject.
