Architecture, Theory and Criticism (Theory, History and Culture)

The subject, dedicated to presenting the foundations of the theory and criticism of contemporary architecture, tries to place the phenomena of the city and architecture in the context of contemporary thought, in relation, then, to human, social and cultural sciences – anthropology , sociology, cultural and social studies, etc.- It is about providing instruments for the criticism of the architectural project, based on the methodologies of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, trying to verify how these are reflected in the interpretations of the architecture within contemporary society.
