Architecture, city and project (Architecture, Energy and Environment)

The course focuses on the urban reality from an analytical perspective which assesses the potential of the urban fabric. The topics to be discussed refer to different aspects of the city such as energy behavior, densification, building regularity, public space, and other aspects that arise from the analysis and that can be proposed at different scales. The spirit of the subject is the creation of knowledge based on the analysis made by students on the issues raised around the urban reality. The work done on the subject must provide the student with the necessary tools to tackle projects in the city, raised with a substantiated knowledge of the reality that surrounds it.
